The railroad recruitment cell or RRC often carries out the RRC recruitment process. This recruiting unit is for publications of the RRC Group D. As you know, Railroads is the largest recruiter in India and most of you who aspire to work with the Government of India will want to know in detail about the Recruitment of Group D of the RRC for 2018. So here’s good news for everyone! In 2018, RRC will recruit 62,907 vacancies.

RRC Recruitment – Eligibility Criteria
A. Age Limit (as on 01.07.2018)
Minimum Age – 18 years
Maximum Age – 31 years
SC/ST – 5 years
OBC – 3 years
PwD – 10 years
You should be 10th Pass or ITI from Instituition recognised by NCVT / SCVT or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.
You should be 10th Pass plus National Apprenticeship (NAC) granted by NCVT or 10th Pass plus ITI from Instituition recognised by NCVT / SCVT.
RRC Exam Pattern & Selection Procedure
The RRC Group D selection will be based on 3 stages as follows:
Computer Based Test (CBT)
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

2. Physical Efficiency Test
You should be able to lift and carry 35 kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down.
You should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one chance.
You should be able to lift and carry 20 kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down.
You should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 5 minutes and 40 seconds in one chance.
Based on the performance of the candidates in the CBT subject to their qualifying in PET, candidates will be called for document verification.
Thereafter, the final selection will be made.

RRC Recruitment – Salary/Pay Scale
Pay Scale – Rs. 18,000/- (Level 1 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix) plus allowances as admissible.
